2011 Year In Review
Hard to believe another year has gone by already! Looking back to everything I did in 2011, I can honestly say that the popular slogan "time flies when you're having fun" is almost an understatement!

I started the year in Austin, TX. After celebrating New Years on 6th street, I hung around town for a few more days to play golf. I flew back to SoCal on Jan 3rd, but wouldn't stay for long -- under a week into the new year, I headed out to CES for the second straight year. This time, my family flew out to join in the fun: a weekend of checking out dancing MopBots, posing with fake Lady Gaga's, and riding a zipline down Fremont Street.
Later in January, I spent a week in Washington, DC on a business trip. When not working, I got an opportunity to try duckpin bowling and climb the Washington Monument. I tried to ski at Mt. Baldy once in January, but couldn't physically make it to the lifts thanks to car accidents, traffic jams, and bottomed out buses. No matter, just a few days later I made it back for some great conditions.

In February, I attended SpaceUp San Diego, then spent 2 weeks in Washington DC for another business trip. Early March also saw over a week of business-related travel. In fact, by the second week in March, I had already accumulated over 40 nights in hotel rooms. (to be continued....)
